This Friday, there's a poetry slam at the Frist Center Cafe at 6 p.m.

 people you know and love will be competing: 

sofi goodwin, eric lentz, david smith, and many more. 

This week, in honor of spoken word poetry, 

we're going to be posting some of our favorites,
plus some original work people have submitted.
