some of our work (for your viewing pleasure and/or inspiration):

Does it hurt to put on all those necklaces?

They weigh down on your heart.
I saw the tear slide from the corner of your eye the other day.

And once, I bicycled all the way to the moon.
I only did it to see you
Can you count every scar?
Flesh torn and ripped apart
Again and again.
Just as healing skin returns,
Rrrrrrriiiiiiip, tear. There.
Beating like the bassline of Redemption's song
Heavy heart holds heavy hearts
Together they go on

Iswear
your body is the poetry of my emotions

every step away from you
lightyear
taken from my heart
i want to DRUM
In the sands of your abdomen
crush me beneath
your t h o u s a n d ton shadow
walking on the (eggshells) of my soul
how can I attain a melody
as infinite as the constantly expanding
universe of our

Simultaneous Star-Gazing

-sofi

my eyes are swollen
like butterflies
and i'm walking with a sweater on
noticing all of these
bright, bright stars
that glimmer like camera shutters
flicking around in the darkness
and affecting me
more than i'd like to admit
The grass itches where i'm standing.
and there's too many whispers
and faces gazing at me
with their bright firefly eyes
and i stare back
with my dull butterfly eyes
wishing i could be more like them.
